Thanks to the collaboration with MAB “Ticino Val Grande Verbano” UNESCO Reserve and in collaboration with i Municipalities of Angera and Comabbio dal 6 July the Il Lago Cromatico Festival will host the photographic exhibition

The photographer from Varese, profound connoisseur of the territory and great interpreter of its suggestions, it will accompany us from the Brabbia Marsh and Lake Varese to the Campo dei Fiori Park and from the Lombardy Ticino Valley Lombardy and Piedmontese Park to the Val Grande National Park. An exhibition, divided into two locations, which will lead us to the knowledge of the great ecological corridor represented by the vast territory recognized by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve within the MAB Program (Man and Biosphere), territory which in addition to including the four important protected areas, includes the vast area of Lake Maggiore, so rich in environmental values, landscaping, cultural. The exhibition highlights the importance of these areas for the environment and biodiversity, fulfilling the informative value that photography indisputably possesses.
Armando Bottelli He is a naturalist photographer, with a particular sensitivity to the landscape and wildlife. He is the author of photographic volumes , collaborates with sector magazines and creates exhibitions with public bodies aimed at protecting and enhancing our territory. The places he frequents are usually not far from home, convinced that the best shots take place in the landscapes of the heart. For him photography is emotion, which he wants to share with his audience by immortalising a deer in a forest at dawn, or the grebes on the surface of the water, or even capturing the vibrations of the night in the deafening noise of silence, while waiting to photograph bats and other nocturnal animals.
